HOW IT WORKS
1. Reads Google Calendar
Fetches every upcoming event — DJ shows, karaoke nights, foam parties — all of them.
2. Posts to Social Media
Sends the upcoming shows list to all 13 Facebook pages, Instagram, Threads, and YouTube.
3. Updates Maps & GPS
Pushes events to Google Maps (GBP), Apple Maps (.ics), Waze, Bing Maps, and HERE Maps.
4. Syncs Bandsintown
Triggers the iCal sync so Bandsintown followers get notified of new shows automatically.
Platform notes
- Facebook / Instagram / Threads — requires valid tokens. Reconnect on /social-dashboard if skipped.
- Google Maps — requires GBP OAuth token. Reconnect on /social-dashboard → GBP tab.
- Apple Maps — reads the .ics feed automatically. Share the subscribe URL with fans once.
- Waze — no public API. Deep-link nav URLs are generated for each venue.
- Bing Maps — requires BING_INDEXING_API_KEY secret (free at bing.com/webmasters).
- Bandsintown — syncs via iCal. Paste the .ics URL in your Bandsintown artist settings once.
