About the Band
High-Energy Live Music Since 1998
The Freeride Band is a popular local live music cover band based in the Abilene, Texas area. The group travels across Texas to perform a diverse, high-energy mix of classic rock, country, funk, soul, R&B, and Latin rock hits at various bars, festivals, and private parties.
Heading into their 2026 performance circuit, the band debuted an updated lineup that brought back their original drummer, "DJ Wildman." They are widely known for covering a broad spectrum of classic and modern generational eras — songs from the 1950s through today — keeping the party going all night long.
